We went here several times during out time in Haines. The ambiance is relaxing and warm. The mixed drinks were very nice. One afternoon, we happened to stroll by the warehouse side of the distillery and ended up talking to the owner. He showed us around a bit, was very friendly, and gave us some insights into how products were made. The bartenders at the distillery itself were friendly and seemed to enjoy creating the cocktails. The distillery was one of the many highlights during our very enjoyable stay in Haines.

My husband and I were walking around Haines and we found this place. Thank goodness we did! We ordered whiskey sours and they were delicious! The staff were so nice!! I bought some vodka as a present because it was so good!

After our Fishing Charter with Haines Family Fishing Charters we stopped in here on their recommendation. Definite WIN! Amazing cocktails to try, a ton of cool T Shirts, Tanks Hats, etc, to bring home a souvenir of the days adventure. A quick stop in before you had back on the Haines Ferry which you can watch pull up on their patio and get there in plenty of time.

What an excellent little gem in Haines! We were visiting Whitehorse for the 2022 Yukon River Quest and decided that we couldn't be that close and NOT see Alaska. We spent two days in Haines camping at Chilkat Sate Park and exploring around town.
My wife had slipped earlier in the day and the bartenders made her a drink called a pain killer that definitely did the job! We enjoyed a bunch of different cocktails in the tasting room and loved them all!
Not only do they distill all their own liquor but the drinks were all garnished with locally grown items and house made syrups! Topnotch and well worth a visit!

We kinda stumbled on this place as we were walking around. Amazing. As good as you will find anywhere. They make everything- the alcohols, the bitters, the syrups. My wife and I each had a couple different cocktails and we bought gin and bourbon to take home. Had to even buy some swag. Make the time to visit if in Haines

What a nice little place......relaxed and friendly atmosphere.......a menu full of inviting drinks made from on-site spirits......some of which have one awards......I ordered a gin martini which was not on the menu but the bartender (mixologist) seemed to read my mind and came up with the perfect concoction.......there were six of us all ordering something different and he expertly mixed and served us all in a timely manner.......you can choose to drink out on the front porch with ocean views if you like.......
We are local and the drinks are quite expensive, but were well worth a splurge when we have guests in town........

Nothing like sitting out on the porch having a delicious gin and tonic, all of which was made there. Yummy!

My wife & I stopped in for a drink on Aug.17 while waiting for a table at the nearby Fireweed Restaurant. Our only disappointment was that we had not discovered the distillary sooner. The Five Fathoms Gin is simply amazing and easily the most pleasant I've ever imbibed, including Bombay Sapphire my former favourite. Regrettably we live in Canada and currently are unable to order Five Fathoms. Guess I'll have to travel north again next year...it would be worth it.

Nice tasting, good selection. Was disappointed that you just order your selection & take it out on the patio to enjoy. No explanations like what differentiates their product or a history of the distillery.

We make it a habit to visit local distilleries when we travel. Port Chilkoot distillery may be the best distillery I've ever been to. Certainly, their 50 Fathoms gin is the best gin ever. The distillery itself is in this small wooden building with a large porch for drinking. The bartenders make the best cocktails - we went every day of our trip and never had a less than perfect drink. Just an awesome place to get an awesome drink.
