Ramgarh Dam, on the way to Bhangarh. Nice place for scenery views, but disappoints due to empty and dry fields all around. Can visit to Temple and Dargarh situated near by. Best for local outing in Jaipur. eeds to be alert due to monkeys. Nice place to visit during rainy season for better views and water falls.

we went here with hope of enjoying the lake view but there is just dry field spread all around. and the way to to ramgarh from amer is also not good.so will recommend this place only in rainy season.

In old days it is the main source of water supply in Jaipur but nowadays it is empty because of encroachment and lake of government negligence. But it is a beautiful place to watch.

Ramgarh lake, used to be one of the famous lakes around jaipur. A while back, there was a beautiful lake and the lake was the main source of water supply to Jaipur City but now due to climate change or some human activities you can say, the lake is dried up.
Still the view is beautiful as the place surrounds hills and greenery. A cozy place for a small outing with your friends. We visited here in the monsoon and it was icing on the cake. There is a famous "Jamvai Mata temple" nearby so you can also visit that temple in your outing.

Water supply for Jaipur came from this lake. This is a huge lake but now because of the dirty politics this lake is on its end. This lake is completely dry from last 10 years.

It is an attractive lake and It's nearest place so nice. It also romantic lake to spend some time with your family and friends.

Nous adorons l'Inde et toutes ses richesses incroyables. Mais nous sommes tristes quand ils nous attirent dans des pièges à touristes. IL y a beaucoup mieux à visiter que ce site sans grand intérêt pour des étrangers

I went with my friends here and it was a very good spot to hangout. Though there was not much water there in the lake but the backdrop was pretty good. We had really good time here. Not a bad place to hangout!

Ram Garh lake was very beautiful and big lake which supply water to wall city (Jaipur). I have sighted more than 160 Bird species at this lake in year 2001.
Major threat to lake goverment policies and encroachment by people.
Stop sources of water which fill the lake.
Great place and historical site dead due to Gov.

No trace of the lake in here now a days and its very sand that its vanished, at one time it was one of the main picnic spot near jaipur.
