Our tour guide Simo made our short but sweet 3 night expedition through the desert beyond memorable. He was super friendly and open to all of me and my girlfriend’s questions right off the bat and he is very knowledgeable and informative. The experiences we had were unlike anything we could’ve planned on our own as we were taken firsthand, to see and learn about the culture and ways of life of the people living traditional lifestyles in the valleys and mountains of the Moroccan desert. It is clear to me that Simo is very passionate about travel and proud of his heritage, and he is happy to share and teach what he knows. This is not to mention that he is also just a great and fun person to talk to during the drives. We were taken to some great places to eat lunch as well as a couple beautiful hotels along the way as well which is very important as well of course. I can’t wait to come back to Morocco and take another deeper dive into the country with my new friend Simo! Thanks!

My family and I just competed a 11 days of wonderful road tour in Morocco. We were so extremely pleased that we chose Merzouga Expeditions with our holiday planning in Morroco. Simo of Merzouga personally took care of every detail, A to Z and was so caring to ensure we were comfortable. He made our trip delightful with his humour as well. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a guide in Morocco!

We did a 3 Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fez with Merzouga Expedition in April 2023, which had an overnight camp to see the Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert, and it was an incredible experience! The level of service provided by Merzouga Expedition was beyond my expectations, as Simo was helpful from the start of our trip in Morocco until the end. Simo setup everything, and the Riad and Desert Camp were wonderful. Our driver for the 3 Day Tour was Mohcine who was fantastic, and did an excellent job. The giant sand dunes were amazing to see, as well as the stars at night! If you are considering taking a tour to the Sahara Desert from Marrakech or Fez, Merzouga Expedition is definitely the company you should go with.

Greetings from Singapore! My apologies for this so delayed review. Me and Amalia have been tackling lots of Life matters the past months since we we got back home from Morocco.
Nevertheless, we are all good and still fondly recall our wonderful memories of our Morocco Trip.
We had an Amazing 11 Days tour with Simo for our Honeymoon.
Simo arranged an impressive Itinerary featuring great sights in Rabat, Fes, Volubilis, Sahara Desert, Dades Valley, Atlas Studios, Essaouira, and Marrakech.
It was wonderfully curated and the whole tour is fun, informative, and most of all comfortable.
The Riads we have stayed are boutique, cozy, and charming. They are not big and so luxurious. However, they are comfortable, complete amenities, and very cultural that makes you feel the Moroccan flavour!
Simo also arranged for us very good local guides for our day tour in Fes, Volubilis, (Merzouga) Sahara Desert, Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, and Marakkesh.
They are very fun, professional, and very knowledgeable. Kudos to Simo for booking them for us!
They took us around to the sites in those cities, explaining their significance, history, culinary, and architecture.
We had a Nice and Comfortable SUV with good AC throughout the Tour.
I highly recommend Simo to anyone who is looking to explore Morocco. He is very professional, punctual, and ensuring your safety all the time.
Thanks a lot again Simo for making our Honeymoon Trip an extraordinary and unforgettable experience!

Nous avons en couple réalisé une expédition vers Merzouga depuis Marrakech sur 4 jours (3 nuits).
La route est longue pour atteindre les dunes de sable du désert du Sahara mais les paysages rencontrés et les étapes prévues par notre guide Simo font de ce road trip une expérience unique. Nous avons notamment découvert Les Studios Atlas, l'Ait Benhaddou, la vallée du Dadès mais le souvenir qui restera à jamais gravé dans nos mémoire est la randonnée en chameau dans les dunes de Sables de Merzouga.
Simo a à cœur de faire découvrir sa région natale et saura répondre à toute vos questions. Nous avons beaucoup appris lors de ce séjour.
Concernant les nuitées réservées par le guide elles sont de très grande qualité tout comme les repas en demi-pension.

We just returned from 16 days of wonderful travel in Morocco. We could not have been happier with our choice of Merzouga Expeditions. Simo and Othman took care of every detail with great care and consideration. They are both delightful to be with , knowledgeable, and accommodating in every way. I have no hesitation in recommending them enthusiastically.

We are finishing a great trip of 15 days with Merzouga Expedition
Our guide Cimo and our driver Osman were great and fun to be with.
Time went fast
We were 4 of us provided with a very comfortable Mercedes SUV ..
The guides chosen by Merzouga Expedition were knowledgeable.
The choice of hotels were our responsibility
We are left with hood memories

Wow, what an amazing trip. I was overwhelmed at the opportunities Morocco had to offer, so I booked this trip for my sister and I with Simo.
We started in Marrakesh and made the trek out to Merzouga.
The 4 day option allows you to see all of the big southern Morocco sights at a very relaxing pace. You will cover a LOT of country and I don't think it would be near as enjoyable on a 3 day trip. The lodging and food were top notch every night.
We traveled in a new VW Tiguan and Simo is a hell of a driver and guide. He also provides local guides at the many stops along the way, all who speak great english and spanish.
This trip is very customizable, just let Simo know what your preferences are. We skipped a lot of the "hollywood" sites and opted for the historic/cultural locations instead. If shopping is your thing, he will get you to the real artisans as well, away from the big city scammers.
I can't wait to return and see the the northern part of the country.
