Best pub in gumbet Fiona and Mehmet make you so welcome proper Smirnoff vodka just how I like it so peaceful and relaxing away from the noise in bar street see you next year Linda and Alan 👍

Great bar to relax and enjoy a lovely cold drinks at good price's. Good music played any music you like and you can sit and chat. Mehmet is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed sitting and chatting with him

Having visited Gumbet for 21 years the only bar we go to every night is O’Connors. Since they opened in 2011 we have been there every night of our holiday. We go there because as soon as you walk in you are greeted by Fiona and Mehmet. They are a lovely couple and very welcoming. You can hear yourself talk in this bar. If you walk up bar street there is noise everywhere. In O’Conners there is music but not loud. You can hear yourself think. You can ask the hosts for music of your choice and they are happy to oblige. If you need answers to your questions about anything at all they will go out of their way to help and solve problems. We go there as it is such a relaxing bar and there is always a lot if craic. Fiona and Mehmet treat everyone the same whether you are new customers or old customers. Fiona goes around the customers and talks to them and Mehmet is behind the bar. If it gets busy both of them serve you. You never have to go to the bar as they both know what you want as they always remember. O’Connors is a great bar so if you are in bar street visit O’Conners and you will be glad you did.

We loved this bar when we holidayed back in 2018 and was wondering is it still open with the same owners because we have booked for August if everything goes well with the virus.

Hi Scott, Sorry for the late response, I never got a notification for your question. We are roughly 25 to 35 minutes away depending on traffic. Taxis are relatively cheap but check the prices without meter if you intend to travel that way. Another option is the local bus to Bodrum and from there a taxi to Gumbet is around 20 to 25 lira.

Hi Josh, we are roughly a 10 minute walk if you follow the beach around to magnific hotel and take the first right after it, then continue straight at the crossroads you will come up opposite Shanghai restaurant, take a right and you will see us. Otherwise a taxi will save you walking and cost about 10 Lira. Thank you for your inquiry.

This bar is cheap relative to the area, but more importantly the craic is fantastic. The owners Mehmet and Fiona are the most welcoming hosts I have ever met.

Hi there. I'm not sure about that to be honest, but knowing the two lovely owners, my guess is ........ yes. If it isn't, then I recommend The Atlantis Bar at the other end of Bar Street, and near there The Columbia Restaurant for food ! Also, in down town Bodrum there is a great bar on Bar Street called The Kule Rock Bar. Have a great time !

Your about 15 minutes away by bus, it's best to tell your driver to let you off at the end of Gumbet and walk in which will take about 10 minutes. We're at the top of Gumbet diagonal to the windmill restaurant, behind Gental dental clinic in Gumbet centrum. Kind Regards, Fiona
