I was bought the flight for a 40th birthday present with my husband too. We were lucky enough to go on first booking and it was moved to the back up site which is two minutes from our house.
A beautiful morning, spotting places we knew and just peacefully flying through the air.
Peter was very calm, witty and knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions.
It was good to get involved with setting up and putting away and then finishing off with a glass of bubbles.
An absolutely perfect morning - thank you.

What a fantastic experience. Yes you do have to help set up and put away the balloon but that is part of the experience and gets people talking to each other . I was lucky first booking two weeks before my flight and weather was spot on . A big thank you to Peter Philpott who flew the balloon and made it enjoyable for myself and my dad .

Amazing Balloon Flight

After lots of cancellations and lockdown restrictions, I finally went on my balloon flight today. All I can say is it was definitely worth the wait. The flight was amazing and the pilot Peter Philpott was very knowledgeable and his quick wit put everybody at ease and had us all laughing. It was great to take part in setting up and rolling up the balloon as well. One of the highlights of the flight was flying over a school and all of the children coming out and waving to us. The look on their faces was lovely.
I would 100% recommend taking one of these flights, you won’t regret it.

A surreal experience to be so peacefully floating on a monday Morning

Lucky to go up on our first booking, helping to lay out the balloon and pack up is fun, as is the takeoff and landing, but the joy of not being stuck in traffic and only doing 10 miles an hour in the beautiful setting flying towards StIves and landed gently on the gold course, and I had better use some punctuation, but it was just so good to be floating, not flying 1000 ft up and seeing everything just glide by underneath. My missus is scarred of heights, and she had a quick gin before we took off, so she loved it. A wide variety of people made up to 13 people in neat little segments of a sturdy basket. It's over before you know it, but I took loads of pics and video in between just the sheer amazing views. Google for hotair videos, the scenery is just as good in real life. Great team of Pete and Tom looked after us brilliantly. Thank you.

Most amazing experience

Received as a birthday present for my sisters and I & it was the most amazing experience. Everything ran smoothly and professionally, with the odd joke thrown in. It was so peaceful, calm and quiet once we were up in the air - so beautiful! Loved helping to set up and pack away & the champagne toast at the end. Would 100% recommend and would definitely do it again!

Fantastic experience

From the very start it was amazing, we had to help put the balloon up and take it down. While up in the air it was so smooth and quiet, the pilot (Pete Phillpot) was very funny and knowledgeable about the area we was flying over. I was very nervous but he made me feel at ease so I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

Up up and away!

We had a great flight. Sisters' weekend away in Cambridge combining a Virgin hot air balloon flight. Perfect conditions - blue sky and modest wind. We had to travel to one of the alternative launch sites but as it was an early morning start - no traffic. Our pilot, Peter, had a suitably dry wit and checked us in, performed in-flight safety info - and served drinks form the trolley!! Haha! No, that was after we had 'landed', squashed the balloon and man handled it back into its bag! This was our first booking attempt and all went to plan. Total fun!. Thanks.
