We visited on a Thursday evening in the 10.30-11.30 time slot, overall a fun night was had by all, although there was some improvements we feel could be made better for the next season;
The timings of groups was a huge problem, we bunched a fair bit as the group in front went so slow, so in turn we tried to wait but then another group caught up with us, this then made us at the front of the line see actors reset which made us miss out on scares and the horror experience that was expected.
Also the time band we went for there seemed especially towards the end sections near to squid games etc not many actors or scares, having previously spoke to others who went, that said the end had lots of actors and was particularly frightning, we found there to be one in the clown tent and then the massive guy right at the end and that was it.
Understandably the actors and staff have to balance their work and lives.
These are just pointers we felt to pass on to help, not a massive criticism of all the hard work it takes to put on a event such as this.
Considering all this we all as a group had a amazing time and we will be back next year to see what you all come up with.

Have been attending this event for years, and tonight’s was definitely no disappointment! The addition of horrifying prop’s WoW the attention to detail was phenomenal, plus the costumes were fantastic! The actors did an amazing job as usual. If anyone is thinking of going, do it, just do it, don’t miss out on this fantastic terrifying ordeal! 👻

first time doing anything like this and it did not disappoint. Actors did a fantastic job! The clowns with chainsaws were especially terrifying. Thank you for fun night! Definitely worth the money

Turned up to Hitchingbrook House, an amazing setting and lovely old building.
The toilet facilities were awful. The portaloos had obviously been there a while and hadn’t been emptied for ages as the smell was enough to induce vomit.
We queued up outside, the system seemed efficient and the staff were friendly and excited to see our reactions. My partner and I were grouped with a group of six and we went in nervously. The hands on shoulder thing works as you make your way around the building. This is where the problem exists. I was at the back of the conga line, i could hear the people at the from screaming as they entered the scenes . There is basically a path to navigate with curtains breaking up the scenes. The group is single file and this quite long. The first four or so people can fit in to the scene before being jumped on by the actors . I found myself standing outside the scenes waiting to enter, as the others stopped dead whilst the actors did their thing. When I finally made it through the curtain, all I saw was the scene and the actors returning to the start positions to catch the next group.
I think this could be an excellent scare maze, but the group is longer than the scene and the actors all jump out on the first four people through the curtain. By half way I was ready to go hone to be honest.

Really good! I don't scare easily at these things, but the combination of small corridoors, disorientating lighting and great actors really made me jump and kept me on edge walking through. It was not a rip off by any means, as it lasted about an hour and it felt longer. It kept you guessing 'is it the end now?' But there was more. I came out wanting to do it all over again. 10/10

Our second time at the Hinchingbrooke horror event and we were not disappointed. From Arrival the staff were extremely helpful, there was an eery atmosphere created by the lighting and the audio to get you into the mood.
The actors and sets were all highly professional as before. The actors did not drop character once even though we joked and smiled at times, this time the interaction was even better, at one point I was dragged (softly) back into a coffin by one of the actors and it added to the overall fun of the evening. All in all a well 'executed' night by a very professional and dedicated team, well done!!

Wow! This was my first time going to hinchingbrooke. I was terrified but omg what and experience. Absolutely loved it. My favourite/most hated part was anything to do with the chainsaws😅 highly recommend if you like a good scare. It will not disappoint!

Omg I absolutely loved every minute! I've never been so terrified in my life! 😅 If you love having a good scare this is the place for you. The actors were fantastic, the scenes were spot on. Most terrifying part for me was being chased with chainsaws & there's plenty of those parts 😬 Can't wait to go again. Well done to everyone involved 👏

Visited Horror at Hinchingbrooke house for the 2nd year running. This place is so intense and crazy. It’s a shame it’s only on during October half term. The actors are amazing and really work hard to scare everyone. I haven’t looked forward to Halloween so much ever before. Be prepared to be touched slightly to intensify your scare. The maze takes around 1hr which is so good value for money. If you enjoy horror films and enjoy getting scared by clowns and the odd chainsaw it’s a must!

OMG this was scary pre Halloween fun. If going through mazes in the dark or with stobe lighting with things hanging in your face & scary people jumping out at you is your idea of a fun night then this is for you! It’s not for the faint hearted that’s for sure. There were a series of different themed sets/mazes with scary people dressed to suit the set. There are some steps & it is in the dark plus there are some parts with low ceilings so beware. We screamed quite a lot (well us girls) & our hearts pumped quite fast but it was strangely fun!
