Windmills and Amsterdam Countryside tour, mostly by bus, partly by ferry.
This tour was very busy, expect up to 70 people in your group with other tours also going on at the same time. 5.5 hours ended up being a little long for us and we didn’t get back until 8.30pm. The team were friendly and helpful, however the “entertainment” was a bit over the top and loud. They meant well though.
Highlights were definitely the windmills, absolutely amazing, if you are into cheese, it’s worth it for you. The ferry trip to Marken was exceptional and that village was a delight, seeing how they made clogs by hand was fascinating and I just had to buy a cute pair for my granddaughter, having free time was great at each stop. If the overall time slot could be shortened a little it would be less tiring, having to wait around for people is always challenging on these trips. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience.
