Nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant bien charmant par hasard et ce fut une réussite. Les serveurs sont très accueillants et prévenants , quant à la cuisine , vraiment délicieuse. Tout était tellement bon que nous y sommes retourné le lendemain soir et y avons retrouvé avec joie la bonne humeur et la qualité

L'hôtel nous à conseiller ce restaurant qui se trouvait a proximité.
La salle et la carte ne présente pas de surprise, mais l'accueil de très grande qualité nous a permis de passer une très belle soirée. A recommander sans hésitation, d'autant que le rapport qualité/prix est bien au rendez-vous. Si le serveur vous conseil du ripasso, surtout laissez vous tenter!!!

Al estar cansados de tanta caminata maravillosa, decidimos entrar en La Lanterna sin mucho conocimiento y no nos defraudo. Buen cafe, buena atencion, buena decoracion. Recomendable.

La Lanterna Venice
After seeing such delicious looking photos of the food offered here, I was determined to find it. Sad to say, once I arrived and attempted to order some seafood as was so deliciously pictures, I was basically laughed at by the waiter as he said “those are just photos to get the tourists in,” basically! So we settled with a salad, a chef made seafood platter which had more vegetables than seafood and shared some pillowy gnocchi. The 3 was for the gnocchi! We asked for prawns but were served really overcooked shrimp with scallops. The scallops were cooked in oil and were greasy, hardly flavorful. The gnocchi on the other hand was so creamy that it became our guilty pleasure of the evening!

Booked via my hotel, got there and was over booked so made table up outside for us and staff argued at table as we were being seated, took 15 minutes to take drinks order, got starter and half way through eating it rained real hard, they only had umbrellas covering half of us outside because they tried to seat everyone being fully booked, we got soaked we threatened to leave so they seated us inside, had to ask for our complimentary drink, no spoon with spaghetti had to ask again, no offer of another drinks order, staff pretty abrupt didn't really acknowledge us, young lad in their was good, food tasted good to be fair but cheeky to charge us a service fee on bill after what I'd call a bit of an ordeal for us. Felt relieved to get out of there. Next time they should not book so many tables in so they can cope and concentrate on service..

Chi va a Venezia ci va per visitare una città straordinaria sotto ogni punto di vista.
Però è caotica per la massa di turisti che ha anche modificato l'offerta culinaria livellandola verso il basso.
Lasciando stare i ristoranti gourmet che sono alla portata di pochi fortunati, i più si devono accontentare dei ristorantini/bar che si trovano sulla direzione Piazzale Roma/Piazza S. Marco.
Qui tra roba scongelata, pizze improponibili, panini secchi e prezzi eccessivi (in rapporto al prodotto) viene lo scoramento.
Per fortuna abbiamo trovato vicino al nostro albergo questo ristorante dall'atmosfera rilassante, pulito, ordinato e gestito con simpatia (te ne accorgi da come trattano il tuo vivace pargolo).
Mettici pure che ordini una tagliata di manzo e il famoso fegato alla veneziana e ti viene portato cucinato bene e allora pensi che c'è speranza.
Il piccolo non ha mangiato mentre io e mia moglie abbiamo preso anche una torta con mascarpone e frutti di bosco (apprezzabile). Io ho preso un paio di calici di dignitosissimi Cabernet per accompagnare il fegato.
50 euro in due che sono più economici dei 30 del giorno prima del menù turistico a base di linguine al pesto scongelate e cotoletta comprata alla COOP

Gestione giovane professionale e attenta ai gusti tradizionali. Perfetto per riscoprire il gusto vero del pesce fresco del luogo.

Make sure you find this restaurant. I was in Venice on my own and I loved this place. The staff are fantastic and it is reasonably priced. Great food. Thanks all (and thanks for doing my daughter's British Indian European cheek, cheek, forehead, chin welcome). She's very excited that it was done in Venice. Hope to go back soon. Brilliant x

Au détour d'une rue, restaurant très convivial, cuisine succulente, produit frais, serveur souriant parle français et nous a reçu à 22h30 sans souci avec le sourire. N'hésitez pas prix raisonnable, et vin délicieux. Je recommande fortement.

Restaurant trouvé au hasard loin du monde, le serveur maitrisait le français et très souriant/agréable, les plats sont bien présentés et très bon. Rapport qualité prix rien a dire. Agréable moment passé en famille loin de la foule de Venise.
