Went for a 2mile run on the malecón early morning, super safe and pretty... make sure you go early or risk melting :)

Muy agradable lugar,
Recomiendo ir al caer el sol
Se disfruta mucho la tarde noche
Caminamos de extremo a extremo, vimos payasos haciendo show, el mar, los niños se metieron al agua de una temperatura agradable.
Vimos gente cantando, muchas bicicletas, patines, muchos restaurantes muy agradables, música de fondo, etc.
Realmente si vas a la paz, tienes que visitar el malecón.
Nuestra sensación fue de un lugar muy seguro.

This place is amazing. Perfect for a long walk and beautiful views of the beach. There are so many options for food that you can meet anybody’s need and cravings. It is totally worth it

Un excelente sitio, bello y muy seguro!!! La oferta culinaria es deliciosa y muy variada además de tener bares, hoteles y restaurantes excelentes. La gente es muy amable en BCS.

Un lugar muy limpio, seguro (nos topamos con algunos indigentes, pero no se meten con la gente), ideal para caminar, practicar ciclismo (la ciclopista es increíble), patinaje o trotar. Las vistas son espectaculares y siempre hay oportunidad de tomar unas buenas fotos.

I stayed in town for a few days. I roamed the esplanade and the streets of La Paz in search for beautiful artworks. Between bronze statues and painted murals, La Paz has many art pieces to offer. If you have nothing planned, just roam through the streets of La Paz and its esplanade, you won't regret it.

Hermosas y tranquilas caminatas, divertidos paseos en bicicleta, muchas experiencias por disfrutar tanto de día como de noche.

La Paz visit at the end of March 2023. Nice quiet town. Stayed at Posada Las Flores, great location at the end of the Malecon, which. is the center of everything.
Hotel was good, location excellent. clean, safe and very helpful management. Do not expect a 5 star rating.
We took a tour to Espiritu Santo Island. About 7 hours long, beautiful beaches, snorkeling if you wanted too. The water was kind of cold. you may need a wet suit.
We also went to Tecolote beach and rented jet skis, nice experience. $100 per hour.
We saw Belentra beach from the boat during the island trip. Beautiful, but empty, no facilities at all. This is a protected area so access is limited.
Many places to eat, Bismark is good, Veracruz style fish is the best. Central for breakfast, ice cream at Michocan, try guanabana, exotic fruit, delicious. At the same corner (I am almost sure, may be off 1 block) there is a hot dog and hamburger vendor, you have to try. Incredibly delicious.
The restaurant next to the hot dog vendor, all white with patio seating, has great fish and mixed drinks.
Stay close the Malecon or you will need taxis to get around. Be prepared to walk.
Overall great place to visit, a bit slow. 5 days is plenty there.

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Hi, someone wrote the beaches were an hour away. We are beach bums and stay there all day. Is the Malecon good for that?

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.

You can probably rent a car very easily in Cabo, although it is expensive. There are very good, reliable confortable public buses. Private shuttles too. One way suttle costs approx $30.
