Begin uw rondleiding naar Monterey met een pick-up in het centrum van San Francisco. Zodra u voor de dag aan boord van uw voertuig stapt, kunt u ontspannen tijdens het rijden. A nice tour

First of all, thank you to the friendly guy who came to take “attendance” at Leavenworth near to the wharf, and Thomas who is a serious / stern driver guide (he gave repeated reminders about behaviors of visitors from different cultures) but is very knowledgeable and gave a lot of info about the tech pioneers in Silicon Valley where I’m from, background stories of the 17-mile drive etc (unlike the bully driver Aldolfo who ruined our Muir Woods trip but that’s for another review ).

The lighthouse is interesting but don’t go to the restroom (hahaha).
The fruits from the fruit stall are not fresh.
Lunch stop at Monterey Bay was too short in my opinion.
Chocolates from Lula’s at Carmel by the sea are delicious tho expensive and there are some interesting stuffs in the shops at Carmel by the sea (we didn’t made it to the beach unfortunately because we want to return to the bus on time).
Pit stop at “Garlic World” gave us the opportunity to buy some interestingly flavored pistachios which are fresh and nice but the flavored sugar coated almond not so much.
In summary, an enjoyable tour although a tad too tight. - Karine

Definitely recommend!
Beautiful trip down the coast. Loved the scenery, bus comfortable, very relaxing. We felt safe with our driver and host Danila who also added to the enjoyment by sharing info about the spots we visited or traveled by. Definitely recommend. Great way to see a little more of California!

Waste of time and money.

We were utterly disappointed by this daytrip.
First of all, our driver was HORRIBLE. Just horrible!
He yelled at people, mumbled irrelevant stories that had nothing to do of the drive and almost drove over a group of bicycle riders and confronted them.
As for the "tour" itself - it included a short stop next to a lovely lighthouse, a long stop with free time at Monterey, which is just a tourist trap, a quick 17-miles drive (with the Lone Cypress being the only nice place), a stop at a golf course near Pebble beach (for no apparent reason) and a long stop and free time at the main plaza of Carmel.
Heading back, the driver kept emphasizing he will NOT stop at any additional points other than the 2 points from the morning. He did stop at a strange garlic place along the way.
Of all the day tours I've ever had, this one is definitely the worst.
Skip it - it's a waste of time and money.

Stunning sights

Thomas was a great tour guide but the stars of this trip were definitely the views! The stunning shoreline, turquoise ocean and wildflowers welcomed us at each stop! We had the luxury of riding through the Pebble Beach Golf Course, walking along the breathtaking 17 mile drive, watching sea lions along the rocks and dining in sunny Monterey. Best of all was the time spent on Carmel by the Sea! Take the walk past the lovely upscale shops to the beach…white sands, blue waters…California at its best! The tour bus was clean and roomy, Thomas gave us a few options to stop at the local market for the freshest of fruits. I would definitely take this tour again!

Exceptional tour and guide ...
Would highly recommend this tour. Thomas, our driver/guide, gave us a wonderful, well rounded commentary touching on history, geography, economics, culture, agriculture, climate, sports, and trivia. Most appreciated was how he established a few simple ground rules before our departure - no talking during the commentary, return to the bus on time, and keep your original seats (all of which should be self evident but have been sadly lacking in other recent tours I have taken).

The day was long, but well organized and we kept on shcedule despite several traffic delays. I couldn't believe how much we saw, nor the beauty of the coast.

I would point out highlights but there were too many. The whole day was exceptional!

This was my second tour of Monterey and Carmel. There were heavy rains prior with trees down and power outages causing delays and closure of restaurants in the areas. However the trip was very scenic with views of the ocean and towns along the coast. The narrating was very good with a knowledgeable driver who made on the spot decisions to deal with the disruptions. No complaints a great trip.

Ocean Views for Days

This tour had lots of highlights and the views of the Pacific Ocean were incredible! As a golf lover, the visit to Pebble Beach and the ability to walk the clubhouse and see the 18th green, was like living a dream. Monterey is lovely and we enjoyed an amazing lunch at the Fish Hopper with incredible views. In Carmel by the Sea, be sure to take a walk down to the ocean. It's worth the walk! The weather was incredibly windy this day and so it was challenging at a few of the stops we made along the 17th mile drive. Be ready for a long day and it can be frustrating with short stops when you want to spend more time. However, the coach is comfortable.

Excellent tour along Pacific coast

Excellent trip in good sunny weather which obviously made a big difference than if it had been wet and windy! Monterey was pretty and Carmel too. The driver/guide did a really good job and made our day. The scenery was fantastic but the day was made very special when we visited Pebble Beach Golf Club as my husband is a keen golfer. The houses along 17 mile drive were fantastic and interesting. The return to San Fransisco was far more interesting than we expected when we stopped at a garlic shop which sold everything you could think of that garlic could be made into!
Then back through Silicon Valley with all the tech company offices was interesting.

Whole long day was excellent and definitely a trip to be recommended.

Fan de este tour de principio a fin, Monterey y Carmel son Mágicas!

Ambos lugares son magicos, en Monterey fui al Acuario, es hermoso!. Hice el recorrido principal, salude a los Octophus, almorce alli y luego fui al monumento Cannery Row, donde hay una vista espectacular de la bahia.
Carmel, dan ganas de quedarse... consegui un mapa, fui hasta la playa y luego a calle Dolores donde estan todas las galerias.
Los paisajes en la ruta de ida y de vuelta, tambien, bellisimos.
