We soared over Iceland and saw 8 minutes of the landscape of their mountains. The footage was great but I was VERY disappointed that they never showed any cities at all I would like to see the people places they live their culture the environment etc not just all mountains all the time.

The imagery was amazing! Really a birds eye view, we felt as though we were soaring in the sky. Definitely recommend!!

The place appears to be new so everything is in very good condition. The building itself is quite large, which requires more walking than I think is acceptable. They have a bar in the waiting area, which is a nice touch, unless you tend toward motion sickness, which this “ride” is likely to produce. As far as the experience itself, this first thing you need to understand is that while the “experience” is about 25mins, the actual “ride” is only 6mins. The other 20mins is bloated pre-ride stuff. This is how it breaks down: first, after checking your ticket you’re instructed to wander down to the first room and stand in a particular number group, the numbers are on the floor. After you wander down a fairly long hallway, you arrive at the room with bars separating the group into 4 groups, not unlike what you might find prior to loading only a roller coaster. On one wall is a large screen displaying a static picture of a scene from the area of the world your ride is supposed to be taking place. You’ll be there for 5-10mins. While you were given instructions to stand in one of four numbered groups, I’ll tell you that it really doesn’t matter. You’ll see why in a second. The last minute in that room, the static picture becomes a “welcome” video, and then you’re off the the second pre-ride room. This room is a larger, round room with screens totally surrounding you and one more double-sided screen in the middle of the room hanging above a neat round floor/screen. This is when you realize that the whole group number thing was nonsense because you’re instructed to enter the room and simply spread out around the room however you want. Now, there’s the main welcome/safety video which truly makes you wonder why you were taken to the first room. Finally, you’re brought into the actual theater room where you actually take your “ride”. The theater is reminiscent of an IMAX theater and the ride seating is arranged in two rows on two floors, one on top of the other. I will tell you that you want to be seated in the lower level row, because the top row is too close to the top of the screen and therefore your upper peripheral vision really notices the end of the screen. The ride itself is decent, pretty much the same as any other immersive video/ride experience found in many amusement parks these days. I was expecting better screen resolution but overall it was still fun. After the ride, you wander through more steps and hallways until you’re dumped (of course) into the gift shop. My Wife and I did two films, Iceland and The American West. We both felt Iceland was the better film but also agreed that it was more likely to cause motion sickness. Rider tips: 1. Get in the lower row. 2. Bring lens wipes if you wear glasses, because you get sprayed by “special effects”. Note to management: The staff is inconsistent. One ticket taker (scanner) was sarcastic to the point of being annoying. One guide was so soft spoken he was worthless, while another was very engaging and entertaining. Overall, it’s not a bad way to beat the heat but I feel it’s more expensive than it should be.

Absolutely amazing! Will definitely be doing it again! It really gives you the feeling of being there. American west and Iceland were amazing. Will be doing the Canadian Rockies on the next trip.

A wonderful experience! I highly recommend it. I have experienced all three. Flying over Iceland was my favorite, but all of them are worth it.

Could've been better. Large, new-looking facility helps mask the reality. You're paying a lot for a 6 minute "ride". While the "experience" is almost 30mins, the actual "ride" is only 6mins. A lot of pre-ride stuff that doesn't really add to the experience at all. IMO, they're just trying to justify the cost. Tips: 1. If you wear glasses, bring lens wipes. 2. Try to get in the lower level group. Upper edge of the screen isn't as intrusive in the lower level.
