We have been planning this trip for 3 years. Due to the Covid pandemic, it took place now. The experience exceeded our expectations. In all these years we have not lost touch with Mr. Tsheten. In fact, thanks to him, we arrived in the country very well prepared. Our guide Yenten and our driver Tshewang fulfilled all our specific requests during the tour. From Yenten we learned a lot about the places we visited. Tshewang drove very carefully and safely. Hot stone bath and dinner in the farmhouse we will never forget. The accommodations and food were excellent. We lacked nothing. I definitely recommend Bhutan travel guru!

In April 2023 I was in Bhutan for five days. Thimphu, Punakha and Paro and their surroundings en route. It was a tour in which I got to know the country and people of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The focus was on the cultural highlights, such as the dzongs, the fortress-like monasteries.
I really liked Bhutan, as it is very different from the other countries in South Asia: Fewer people, less stress, better air and a largely intact environment and nature.
I had the trip put together by the tour operator Bhutan Travel Guru. I booked locally, i.e. not through a foreign tour operator but directly through Bhutan Travel Guru. The organization by Mr. Tsheten from Bhutan Travel Guru was really perfect: always transparent, always responding promptly via email, always responsive to the customer. So, unlike other tourists, I always got a window seat on the right side during the flight from Kathmandu to Paro to get a view of the 8,000s. My wish for stamps for postcards was also granted on the first day of the trip. Just two of many examples that show that the client's supposed little things have been dealt with very conscientiously.
I would also like to thank Mr. Ugyen and Mr. Leki. Mr. Ugyen was my guide, he was incredibly well versed in the culture of Bhutan, he enthusiastically taught me the peculiarities of the historical details even on the last day, he was also very spontaneous and once did other things for me that were less frequented by tourists ways shown. He also found a suitable time window for extracurricular activities such as river rafting or a visit to the hairdresser. Mr. Leki was my driver. Incredibly helpful, totally safe and always up for a joke.
I thank the team of Bhutan Travel Guru for an unforgettable and beautiful trip.

the tour was amazing. our guide Tshering Norbu and driver Tenzin brought us to the beautiful temples and sites of Bhutan. this trip was very enriching with the detailed explanations shared by our guide and scrumptious food that we had enjoyed throughout the trip (especially the from the farmhouse and jakhar village lodge). our driver was also very skilled in navigating narrow and bumpy roads, making us feel very safe throughout our trip.

I spent 12 days in Bhutan it is a beautiful & peaceful country .I found Bhutan Travel Guru on trip Advisors.I am a world traveler I’ve been to 89 countries & I use private companies bot Bhutan Travel Guru I’m NUMBER 1 .The owner Tsheten arranged my itinerary exactly the way I wanted .He is a very kind & knowledgeable man. He was on top of everything from lovely accommodations, tours and delicious meals. We had an excellent guide name Sonam , he was so excited about showing us around this amazing country .He was very informative about the history and culture. we also had a wonderful driver Tshewang .Both the guide & driver would go out of their way for us & made sure everything went perfect .I have knee issues & my driver helped me climb the Tiger’s Nest .He stood right next to me to

I had the most incredible trip to Bhutan. Genuinely could not have asked for anything better. From the very beginning, I chose Bhutan Travel Guru because Tsheten Chopel (CEO) was not only very responsive but also very helpful in providing the itinerary that I wanted for myself for a solo trip. He was very accommodating and answered my countless questions.
When the trip started, I found that I had an amazing guide, Sangay, and driver, Karma, who were extremely attentive throughout. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a relaxing trip, planning additional sites to see when they learned my interests and were kind and offered great services throughout.
I would recommend the company to anyone interested in visiting Bhutan!

My friend and I chose a private tour with Bhutan Travel Guru (BTG) after considering all the options. Tsheten at BTG was right on the ball, quick to respond, and very competitive. He looked after everything including flights to/from Paro, visas and advice on cultural considerations. Our driver and guide spoke English very well and their experience and knowledge of Bhutan's history, culture and religion were exceptional.
We purposely chose 3-star hotels and they were fabulous. The remote homestays were a truly wonderful experience and in every case, our guide chose restaurants for lunch and dinner that served stunning dishes of organic vegetables, meats and cheese dishes, with or without chilies (and occasionally with the local rice wine). Every meal was absolutely delicious.
Bhutan while progressive has stunning villages, forests, amazing vistas and the warmest people imaginable. The cultural and religious sites are stunningly wonderous, as are the historical museums visited. Mixing with the local farmers and monks is a life experience, hard to find anywhere else in the world these days.
Oh Bhutan and BTG, thanks for an unforgettable time - and we will be back!
Footnote: We were, in the beginning, a little fazed by the increased Tourism Fee - but trust me, it was worth every penny to visit such a unique place and to come away so happy and relaxed.

I highly recommend you book your trip to Bhutan via Bhutan Travel Guru.
The communication while planning the trip was excellent, and they were more than happy to customize our tour based on our preferences.
The tour itself went perfectly starting from the very beginning to the very end. Our tour guide and driver, Sonam and Gele, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. They never rushed us, but always kept us on good time.
Bhutan is a wonderful place to visit, and if I find myself back I will definitely plan my trip with Bhutan Travel Guru.

The trip was excellent. The company Bhutan Travel Guru was from attentive from the beginning and every inquiry has been answer in no time. The program was as the itinerary. The guide and the rest of the team were beyond what we expected. We did a 17 days trip which 11 days of it was the trek. I recommend this company with my whole heart. Bhutan is a magic place andBhutan Travel Guru shows it to you in the best way.

We felt welcomed from the first moments we met our guide and our driver who spoke perfect English and were most helpful.
We had an individual tour as we participated in the Bhutan Marathon, so the guide was very flexible and the tour operator was able to offer us the best possible customized tour.
