This was a trip of a lifetime and it did not disappoint, thanks to Bhutan Travel Guru! I really cannot say enough about our experience, beginning with our first communication to us saying goodbye at the airport and everything in between, it was all perfect and I would not have changed a thing. Thank so so very much for such a memorable trip, we appreciate you!

Go with the Guru! They are great! They made possible my trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend them.
These guys were great. They customized our trip during planning to meet our particular interests. They took care of all the arrangements They even made great adjustments on the fly adding experiences not included in the itinerary. The lodging met or exceeded our expectations. The guide was very knowledgeable and the driver was very safe. That’s important on the narrow mountain roads. We had a lot of fun and became friends with them both.
It’s hard to select a guide because there are so many-I would highly recommend the Bhutan Travel Guru.

We were extremely happy to have booked through Bhutan Travel Guru -- which is based in Bhutan's capital (Thimphu), employs excellent guides and drivers, and is priced very fairly. Every aspect of the entire week-long trip went smoothly.
Tsheten (the owner and a longtime former guide himself) took care of every detail, from the required visas to the flights in/out on Drukair. We have never used a guide or driver for a trip -- but we were very glad we did (and it's virtually necessary in Bhutan)!
Bhutan Travel Guru has a real personal touch: for example, Tsheten took us to dinner himself in a historic house in Thimphu. He also arranged our hikes each day so that we could acclimate to the altitude - saving Tiger's Nest (10,000 feet!) until the end of the week.
Also, our guide knew farmhouses where we had a lunch and a dinner that turned out to be the best meals of the trip! Definitely agree to "home stays" - and ask to eat at these farm houses.
It's important to support Bhutan's economy by using their local companies -- and Bhutan Travel Guru is both local and (because of that) highly knowledgeable about everything.

Bhutan Travel is a great choice, with care and attention to every detail to make your trip even more unforgettable. The owner Mr. Tsheten is responsive and you will have all your answers replied quickly and everything taken care prior to your arrival. However, the people you interface daily (guide and driver) is what makes Bhutan Travel Guru the right option. Our young guide Nobu had real passion and love for his country and our driver Ngidrup was courteous, safe and of great help as well. Bhutan is a land of dreams and highly recommended as a unique destination.

I travelled to Bhutan with my husband. The service we had was very high standard. We enjoyed the trip. The altitudes were quite challenging so the trek to Bumdra camp was very tough for me. The hotels were good and very clean even if they were the ones included in the daily tax fee.
The guide and driver were very attentive and we had no problems.
We were also invited by the owner to have dinner in a typical Bhutanese restaurant in Tihmphu.
The Paro festival was incredible

My husband and I discovered Bhutan Travel Guru on Trip Advisor and from the beginning, we knew we were in good hands. Tsheten quickly responded to our emails, and took care to plan a trip that met our specific needs and desires. We completed our amazing 12 day trip in mid-April, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our guide Dorji, and driver Kinley, were enthusiastic, informative, accommodating, fun and exceptionally kind and polite. We were especially interested in the old temple murals and every day we visited beautiful temples, dzongs and monasteries. Of the places that we stayed, we particularly loved Dhumra Farm Resort in Punakha, and Dakar Village Lodge in Bumthang. We couldn't be more enthusiastic about Bhutan Travel Guru.

Bhutan Travel Guru organized a 12 day private tourof central and western Bhutan. Everything about this tour was excellent. The hotels and homestays were high quality. The guide and driver were first rate. I had no issues or problems on the tour and would highly recommend Bhutan Travel Guru if you are planning to visit Bhutan

Thanks to Bhutan Travel Guru we have had one of the best vacation for us! We love the country, amazing sceneries, kind people, tasty food. The experience was great and unforgettable. Tsheten, the CEO, gave us great recommendations, was very prompt with the communication and arranged all the details during our 13 days trip from East to West Bhutan, including the visas and flight tickets. We admired Phurba’s, our guide, knowledge and passion about Bhutan, its history, about Buddhism and all the local habits and secrets. We also appreciated Yeshi’s, our driver, skills and afford to deliver us safely to all beautiful places during our trip. And a sense of humor, story telling and playing carrom of both of them. Thanks a lot, we will be back some time. It was real pleasure to travel with Bhutan Travel Guru and I highly recommend to travel with them!

This trip was really magical and it was not only because of the stunning views, amazing history and interesting culture, but also because of our guide and driver from Travel Guru. Our tour guide made our visits to temples a joyful and enlightening experience. Our driver was so patient and calm, we felt safe all the time.
Travel Guru made us feel like we were visiting friends, and the memories that we created will be in our hearts forever. If you are planning to visit this beautiful country, we highly recommend you Travel Guru!
