Gokyo Treks heeft voor ons alle permits geregeld en gezorgd voor een geweldige gids Ganesh en porter Khilu. Door hun optimale zorg hebben wij volop kunnen genieten van de cultuur, de prachtige omgeving en de vriendelijke mensen. Ze waren erg leuk om mee om te gaan. Gids Ganesh regelde alle accomodaties, vervoer en zorgde voor de aanpassingen in onze planning. Het was een geweldige ervaring met Ganesh, die we nooit meer zullen vergeten. Gokyo Treks bedankt voor het mogelijk maken van de fantastische reis.

We booked through Gokyo Treks Nepal for a 3 day visit to Kathmandu. Our guide was Ammar and he took us on a wonderful tour of the city.
We began the tour with a shuttle to the airport where Ammar introduced himself, gave us the itinerary for the tour, and allowed us to settle in. The next day we went on a mountain flight to see Everest, then went on a tour of Kathmandu to multiple religious and historical sights. And on the final day we took a jeep up into the mountains for a hike.
The tour was fantastic and a great way to get around the city, see the sights, and experience the culture. In the future we hope to do a true trek with Ammar and the Gokyo Treks team!
Ammar was amazing, friendly, and we would absolutely book through him again!

We recently used Gokyo Treks on a 4 day trip to Nepal. We had 2 travel days, 1 day of city/ cultural tourism, and 1 day of hiking. From the moment we stepped off the plane and were greeted by our airport transfer, we knew we made the right choice. Our guide Ammar and all the Gokyo Treks' staff we met were super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating in creating our personalized tour. The tour itself was top quality and even though short, I feel like I got a true taste of Nepal. I will definitely come back to Nepal and use this company again for a future tour!

The team is very responsive to every question and request i made from the beginning . Just ask them abs they will try to find something for you. Plus the porter guide is prefect for a solo trekker who i can trust.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our Kathmandu City Tour with Gokyo Treks. Anmar was fantastic throughout; replying to emails and questions promptly, re-arranging the time at late notice and even meeting us at our hotel to introduce us to our our guide. It was a fantastic introduction to the city (before we headed off trekking), taking in the sights of Pashupati Nath, Swayambhunath (monkey temple), Boudhanath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Having a local guide made things so much easier and less stressful as he was able to arrange and negotiate better taxi prices, whilst also showing us sights and giving us information that we would have otherwise missed. Overall, I'd highly recommend Anmar and Gokyo Treks' Kathmandu City Tour.

I had a personal tour of the key sites of Kathmandu. A very informative and friendly tour guide, backed up with taxi driver for the day. The sites were incredible and I really enjoyed the expert knowledge from the friendly guide. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this fantastic tour to anyone!

Fourth time visited Nepal in Last December 2018. Again we choose the Ammar's service for our Annapurna hiking. The trip went very well and had the same guide like in Langtang, thank you for serving a great Guide. We visited Kathmandu world heritage sites and 2 days spend our vacation in Pokhara, and Gokyo Treks & Expedition booked our hotel, everything was great. Thank you for the great service again. If you are also planning to visit Nepal and searching for a trusted and small company than gokyo trek agency is the best and their prices are competitive comparing others.

We are a team of 4 Germans from Europe and we have just finished Langtang trek with the professional guide Ram with Gokyo Treks & Expedition and everything went excellent! Our Guide Ram was extraordinary and our porters Dipendra and Manoj were just friendly. We travel Nepal 2 times already but we didn't have time for trekking but this time we spend our 7 days Langtang Trek with guide and porters. They were all very good people. No doughts, we are again planning our next trip to Annapurna with Gokyo Trek agency in coming October - November. If you are thinking or searching for a reliable company than this agency is the best for sure and their prices are competitive comparing others.

Gokyo Treks & Expedition was recommended by some of our Austrian Alps travel mate in 2012, than we booked our trip with Ammar easily. We did a great trip than we concluded that we would never consider another company.
In 2018 May, we made off the beaten trek to Khopra ridge / khayar lake. Ammar was very helpful in communication with fast respond and friendly. We trek about 10 days with our outstanding Guide Shreeram and smiling porters Dependra, Raj and Ramesh. Our guide booked room in advance by phone and took us over the Khopra hill, the view was almost outstanding and better than poonhill. It proves that good company management and services are always with the professional trekking guides and porters. The whole entire team members are caring, experienced and attentive to trekker's individual demands. They also organized Kathmandu city tour including world heritage sites and amazing Mountain flight. The price was cheaper comparing with other companies. They are superb companions of exploration in Nepal! Looking forward to enjoying another beautiful journey with you guys!
