Très bien dommage de ne pas avoir pu accéder aux vestiaires du sporting seulement celui des visiteurs.

Chegando a Lisboa passamos pelo Alvalaxia o ambiente moderno do Estádio José Alvalade do Sporting Clube. O estádio moderno tem também um bom museu.

Nous avions prévu de visiter le stade ainsi que le musée. Nous avions fait 45 min de trajet (circulation et métro fermé aux abords du stade), et quelle surprise en arrivant, on nous annonce que c'est fermé !!

We visited Benfica yesterday so had to take a trip to Sporting Lisbon today.The ground is right next to Campo Grande Metro station and we just turned up and joined the next tour two for 17 euro that included 40 percent off with the Lisbon card.The tour took about an hour we went onto the pitch side and in the Away dressing room and into the executive lounge and finally into the Museum.We both really enjoyed the tour a must for any football fan visiting Lisbon.

I always enjoy going to European football matches, and this was no exception. As usual, the home crowd sung throughout the match. Also tickets were fairly priced. Drawback was that they apparently allow snoking in the seats, and it was truly disgusting. Other than that, had a good time.

Easy to get to by Metro, Sporting has an impressive trophy room. Far from being just a football club, it's a sporting club in the true sense, with 55 professional teams being represented in sports such as swimming, cycling, judo, billiards, athletics, table-tennis.....the list goes on. Which explains the huge number of trophies you'll see in the museum. The guides speak excellent English and are knowledgeable about their club. You'll get access to all areas except for the player's dressing room, home team specific areas and the pitch itself. If you're thirsty or peckish, there's a supermarket and some fast-food places in the stadium basement before you go in to the museum, as well as the Sporting shop. If you've also done a tour of their bitter rival, Benfica, you'll probably notice that Benfica have the edge on presentation, a slicker operation, a bigger stadium and more attractions. However, that's not to say that Sporting is sub-standard; they're laid-back and friendly but passionate about their club and, from what I understand are about to undergo a refurbishment next year. I enjoyed my experience and was treated well. It's a one-time thing, a visit to stadium outside of a football match, but it's worth doing.

O Estádio Alvalade pode ser conhecido em visita guiada, e junto ao Museu do Sporting de Lisboa. Além do futebol o museu retrata todos os esportes do clube . Muito bem cuidado

Have been several times, love watching a good match in Sporting Stadium. Recommend that you purchase your ticket some days in advance. Profit also to visit the Shop, as the online presence is unfortunately quite limited. Vivaaa Sporting!!!

Muito bom,melhor estádio do país sem dúvida alguma. Recomendo a visita ao museu e ao estádio mas principalmente ver aqui um jogo de futebol

Absolutely shocking “tour”
I had read on TripAdvisor and elsewhere that the experience included a full tour of the stadium including changing rooms, dugouts etc but what we got for €30 for a family of 4 was completely unacceptable.
The young man who took the tour showed us just three things - very briefly - a door (I’m not joking), the pitch and the press room. He gave no explanation of the club, the history, the players etc and certainly gave us no opportunity to see the dugout let alone sit in it. So we stood for a couple of minutes in each location in silence and then moved on to the museum (where they insisted on checking our entry tickets again despite being with the guide who had already checked them). After drifting around the museum alone for 10 minutes we were shown out. Not only was there no adequate tour, but the guide’s English was poor so the single fact he shared (that the press room holds 2500 people) was wrong and he meant 250 people.
Having just come from the Benfica tour and having visited clubs across Europe for stadium tours this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. All the facts we learned about Sporting came from our Benfica guide earlier that day!
I emailed Sporting to complain and after sending them a chaser they told me they’d “pass my feedback on to the director”. We had also had a lousy experience in the shop where they exchanged the tops we were buying for two new ones from the back and when we got home it was clear they were a different size.
All in all this was a really diabolical experience for our boys who had been so looking forward to the visit.
Maybe it was a bad day, a new guide or the catch all excuse “Corona” but honestly if not give this tour a miss and spend your time down the road at Benfica where you’ll learn a hell of a lot more about Sporting and be made to feel a lot more welcome by a far more professional operation.
